The Richard Mille RMII-03 – Custom Project

Founded on technical innovation, artistry, and culture of fine watchmaking, Richard Mille has become a dominant player in the watch industry in recent years. A watch brand that epitomises luxury and exclusivity.

It has long been a dream for our company to work on a watch from such an on-trend and highly aspirational brand, earlier this year we got the opportunity thanks to one of our clients.

The brief was simple… to diamond set a stunning RM11-03 rose gold/titanium piece the same as if it was done by the factory originally, using the best diamonds we could procure. This involved hand-setting brilliant cut diamonds into the tops of the rose gold case and the buckle. The buckle itself had to be filled and smoothed prior to the diamond setting as the buckle that comes on the RM11-03 has the company logo stamped into it.

Completed by our highly skilled team within 7 working days from being given the ‘ok’ to proceed by the client, we could not have been happier with the results. It’s quite a thing to dismantle and drill holes into a $250,000 watch and at the time the factory set model was trending on social media due to the famous music artist “Drake” posting a photo of it on his Instagram; so we had to get it 100% perfect.

The watch was returned to the client who could not have been happier with the results! Subsequently, we ended up customising a further two watches for them, an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak chronograph and a Patek Philippe Nautilus. We have been fortunate enough to customize thousands of watches since establishing our business, but to date, this remains one of the highlights.
